There are a ton of productivity tools, resources, apps, technology, and training available to use online.

You don’t need to have any previous education or any qualifications to start. In fact you might be able to completely change your life without going through traditional routes of learning (e.g. college). You don’t need to be in the “prime of your life” either. Anyone can help themselves to the wealth of knowledge online.

What I like most: The guided, immersive, coloring sleepscapes have helped me fall asleep easier and have better quality of sleep overall. I thoroughly enjoy and look forward to a new adventure each night prior to bedtime. This app brings back tons of nostalgia.

Founded in 2010 by Andy Puddicombe and Rich Pierson, Headspace is a global leader in meditation and mindfulness through its meditation app and online content offerings.

What I like most: The sleepscapes have outstanding ambience sounds and the app includes a Focus mode which I used while working.

Calm

Calm is the leading mental wellness brand with the #1 app for sleep, meditation and relaxation, designed to help you manage stress, sleep better and live a happier, healthier life. With hundreds of hours of original audio content available in seven languages, Calm supports users in more than 190 countries.

Calm was named by the Center for Humane Technology as “the world’s happiest app”.

What I like most: I love the numerous options for sleep that range from listening to a story narrated by Matthew McConaughey, meditations, music and soundscapes. They also includes a gratitude log, that reminds you to be grateful every day.

Health/Wellness Resources & Tools

Dr. Mark Hyman is leading a health revolution—one revolved around using food as medicine to support longevity, energy, mental clarity, happiness, and so much more. Dr. Hyman is a practicing family physician and an internationally recognized leader, speaker, educator, and advocate in the field of Functional Medicine. He is the founder and director of The UltraWellness Center, the Head of Strategy and Innovation of the Cleveland Clinic Center for Functional Medicine, a fourteen-time New York Times bestselling author, and Board President for Clinical Affairs for The Institute for Functional Medicine. He is the host of one of the leading health podcasts, The Doctor’s Farmacy. Dr. Hyman is a regular medical contributor on several television shows and networks, including CBS This Morning, Today, Good Morning America, The View, and CNN. He is also an advisor and guest co-host on The Dr. Oz Show.

What I like most: Dr. Hyman takes a functional medicine approach to wellness. Functional medicine looks at the entire person not just symptoms to treat ailments.

What I like most: Dr. Berg provides solid facts to back up everything he recommends. He doesn’t try to sugar coat information and has practical ways to implement weight loss.

Dr. Berg is the author of The 7 Principles of Fat Burning, and The Healthy Keto Plan (Formerly The New Body Type Guide). He provides vital information about why you’ve been having a rough time losing weight.

He believes that it’s not ‘lose weight to get healthy,’ it’s ‘get healthy to lose weight’! 

He will show you how to look and feel healthy and youthful as you lose weight and as you age. My goal is to put you in control of your body and your future longevity!

Dr. Berg is a health educator specializing in weight loss through nutritional and natural methods such as the keto diet plan and intermittent fasting, supported by low-carb diet tips that make following the keto diet easy and adaptable to any lifestyle.

Dr. Andrew Huberman is a neuroscientist and his podcast can be found in multiple ways including his website Hubermanlab. Dr. Huberman is a tenured Professor in the Department of Neurobiology at the Stanford University School of Medicine. He has made numerous significant contributions to the fields of brain development, brain function and neural plasticity, which is the ability of our nervous system to rewire and learn new behaviors, skills and cognitive functioning. 

Dr. Huberman is also actively involved in developing tools now in use by the elite military in the U.S. and Canada, athletes, and technology industries to optimize performance in high stress environments, enhance neural plasticity, mitigate stress, and optimize sleep.

What I like most: Dr. Huberman gets to the root of why things are the way they are biologically. He makes connections that others do not and provides insightful “Do’s and Don’t’s.”

Dr. Peter Attia is the founder of Early Medical, a medical practice that applies the principles of Medicine 3.0 to patients with the goal of lengthening their lifespan and simultaneously improving their healthspan. He is the host of The Drive, one of the most popular podcasts covering the topics of health and medicine.

What I like most: Dr. Attia has essentially tested every way to improve health and longevity on himself as a personal passion to discover the most “optimal” way of attaining health and longevity. He practices what he preaches.

Dr. Jolene Brighten is a board-certified naturopathic endocrinologist, clinical sexologist, and prominent leader in women’s medicine. She also has degrees in degrees in chemistry, nutrition science, and clinical nutrition. A fierce patient advocate and completely dedicated to uncovering the root cause of hormonal imbalances, Dr. Brighten empowers women worldwide to take control of their health and their hormones. She has been featured on Impact Theory wherein she talks about the impact of hormonal birth control on women’s lives.

What I like most: Dr. Brighten was able to use her experiences with food and trauma to start piecing together important aspects in her own health that also impact many other women. She practices functional medicine and treats the root causes of illnesses.

Financial Resources & Tools

Tony Robbins is an internationally renowned life and business strategist. Tony is not only motivation, he is very practical. He offers a wide range of ways to connect including a website, podcast, books, coaching and extended live events. He helps people to discover purpose, unlock keys to boosting business and/or financial aspects, improve relationships, and so much more.

I find value in the “get real” approach that Tony takes. He can weed out and eliminate the BS and excuses people use to prevent themselves from making positive changes in their lives.

Tim Ferriss has been listed as one of Fast Company’s “Most Innovative Business People” and one of Fortune’s “40 under 40.” He is an early-stage technology investor/advisor (Uber, Facebook, Shopify, Duolingo, Alibaba, and 50+ others) and the author of five #1 New York Times and Wall Street Journal bestsellers, including The 4-Hour Workweek and Tools of Titans: The Tactics, Routines, and Habits of Billionaires, Icons, and World-Class Performers. The Observer and other media have called Tim “the Oprah of audio” due to the influence of The Tim Ferriss Show podcast, which is the first business/interview podcast to exceed 100 million downloads. Dave Ramsey is a seven-time #1 national bestselling author, personal finance expert and host of The Ramsey Show, heard by 18 million listeners every week. He has appeared on Good Morning America, CBS This Morning, Today, Fox News, CNN, Fox Business and many more. Since 1992, Dave has helped people take control of their money, build wealth and enhance their lives. He also serves as CEO for the company Ramsey Solutions. Dave does have strong Christian and Republican themes.

Graham is a real estate agent, self-made millionaire and YouTube personality best known for videos on financial independence, saving money, investing money, and real estate investing. According to his website, he created his YouTube channel to share his “successes, failures, and experiences in the real estate industry and to support others”. Graham also offers several course on how to improve as a real estate agent and how to run a successful YouTube channel. 

Money and happiness expert Ken Honda is a best-selling self-development author in Japan, with book sales surpassing eight million copies since 2001. His latest book is called “Happy Money: The Japanese Art of Making Peace with Your Money” (June 4, 2019, Simon & Schuster). Ken studied law at Waseda University in Tokyo and entered the Japanese workforce as a business consultant and investor. Ken’s financial expertise comes from owning and managing several businesses, including an accounting company, a management consulting firm, and a venture capital corporation. His writings bridge the topics of finance and self-help, focusing on creating and generating personal wealth and happiness through deeper self-honesty. Simon Sinek is an unshakable optimist. He believes in a bright future and our ability to build it together. Andre is a YouTuber in the personal finance space as it relates to investing and financial minimalism. Prior to YouTube, Andrei has been featured in numerous online, TV, and film publications such as Steve Harvey, GoPro, Nat Geo’s Brain Games, iTunes & NBC.
